    ba careful w/ homemade mayo, since it'll likely require you to use raw eggs. you can use pasteurized eggs though.

    Yes, you would have to put it in the contract for it to apply, but it would essentially give a woman the right to a divorce. To me, that's very different from saying that a woman does not have the right to a divorce in Islam :)

    Even w/o the stipulation, a woman can initiate the end of a marriage by asking to be divorced from her husband (which would be a khula). Whether or not a man actually complies w/ his wife's request for a khula is a separate issue, I think.

    Chotoo- afaik, in Hanafi fiqh women can have a stipulation in their marriage contract that gives them the right to divorce in case certain conditions have not been met.
