    oh, and a lot of libraries offer a regular storytime specifically for toddlers... google the local library's website and see what's available. Google free activities in your neighborhood too, like Mommy and Me.

    LOL. I made myself nuts trying to teach Madiha her colors... and then I realized that I did not know a single elementary schooler who had somehow escaped learning them. Just introduce him to a lot of learning opportunities... kids learn by osmosis... take him to different places that he can explore with all his senses, give him things to smell, touch and listen to, let him get messy in an appropriate environment.

    hmm. so I thought about it, and I don't really do a whole lot of intesive activities at that age, I try to encourage independent play more. But they do love hand play, like the itsy bitsy spider, and Fatimah is totally addicted to the hokey pokey.

    hahaha, well I googled some recipe. I submitted 4 tea recipes to the folks, but since the Campus people will be purchasing and making the tea and they say they will pick one recipe, I doubt they will make this one. I don't really know what the point of the whole thing is if we're not going to make the ethnic foods ourselves, but hey whatever.
