    it wasn't til college that i figured out it's what i really love. my major is religious studies. i set my "concentration" as islam when i first started at this uni, but i've realized that i wish i had done a judaism or christianity major instead (i haven't really learned anything about islam that i didn't already know, or couldnt have learned on my own). after taking a hinduism & asian myth course, a jewish lit class this semester and several bible studies/hebrew bible classes in semesters past, i am really beginning to appreciate interfaith relations and religious diversity. i've developed an interest in studying judaism especially, it has such a rich history and culture, plus so much in common with islam! :faint:

    well, my mom's side of the family are christian (protestant and catholic) and since i was 12 i've been going to their services on and off. i participated in easter and xmas growing up since my mom was christian (and never knowing that it was forbidden in islam). early exposure caused me to gravitate towards interfaith stuff.

    i was wanting to go to a catholic church but i was going with my friend to a baptist service instead. she ended up oversleeping (i called her like 5 times, haha). iA next week we'll go for easter :)

    hey dude... i don't want to derail that thread further, but if you're interested, i can send you my outline for my constitutional law class. it covers a lot of topics you seem to be interested in, including civil rights and constitutional rights, and how the courts analyze these issues. let me know and i'll email it to you. :)
