    hey! no the fiance got it custom made from a Toronto based jeweler (he lives there) and based the design on the 1895 Cartier diamond engagement ring style. It's breathtaking. Her mouth is going to drop open when she sees it, believe me. I was totally expecting something smaller and simpler cause I knew engagement rings cost so much, but I was really shocked (in a good way) when I saw the ring. Good luck!!! :)

    yeah, mountains haha...with a waterfall, hiking, and you can rent a cottage within the mountains...its a huge park, and you kinda live within it while there. not much to see other than that, but the park is an awesome getaway with tons of trails and stuff.

    to each their own. but i almost feel like, it almost makes it more 'legit' having to declare in presence of everyone. you may not see it that way. but i certainly do. lol. inshaAllah wahtever works best for you and for mrs. restlessoul. i guess, these small trivial things can't constitute to direct source of happiness anyway! duas on your way. :)

    the place i am thinking of IS a nature-y place, but it has a hall as well, with glass windows and stuff. its so PRETTY! i hope we can get it, inshaAllah! the only bad thing is that it holds about 250 people only =/ which is VERY little for desi weddings :( white eagle is pretty! where are you getting the food from?
