actually my husband really enjoyed that movie as well... even though he grew up in pk.

But i've noticed that in general britishers don't get that movie... i almost didn't watch it because my husband's british cousins told me it was stupid. but now it is possibly one of my favorites.

It's not that the humor was "blah," it's that the target audience was people who went to high school in America in the 1990s.

Having said that, I personally thought it was decent, but not mindblowingly awesome or anything

British comedy is definitely gay. There are some notable exceptions, the most prominent being Mr Bean. But all that other stuff like Monty Python, Blackadder, The Office, Red Dwarf, Fawlty Towers, etc is all straight up homo

There's no intellect behind it, theres smugness behind it. Besides, i deal with enough intellectual stuff, I watch comedy to laugh.

Thanks for reminding me about 'whose line', that goes on the list of straight up homo british shows

Monty Python is pure, unadulterated genius.
