thats exactly what i thought. i felt that at the end, were gonna notice that even Americans in America can be seen as alien.

i dont noe why muslims are expecting it to be FOR muslims only and that the writers and producers are gonna have it spot on as to what islam says. i mean c'mon, muslims themselves dont have islam spot on in their lives let alone ACTORS on a show.

Because
a) the word Pakistan (pronounced Pakishtan) sounds funny
b) It's fun to make fun of Pakistani's
c) It's easy to laugh at FOB's
d) Pakistani and Indian fobs are extra funny (but becuase of Apu, we can't make fun of Indians)
e) All Pakistani's are terrorists (like Palestinians) but they have a better image internationally, so it's good to use them on TV. Means you can get rid of Terrorist stereotypes without mentioning Israel
f) If they used an American Muslim that would be like admiting there are Muslims in America
g) If they used an American Muslim, it's possible they would find a white one, and we all know that Muslims aren't white.

I need to comment here. Its ok to have the personal preferences, nothing against it.

But somehow I feel that people on this forum presume that Muslims are a race and that blonde people can't be Mulims. You know that there are Muslims in Europe (Bosnia, Tchecnia, Montenegro, Serbia) and other Balkan countries who are blonde. You can see 1.80 meters tall blonde Muslim girls and man or taller. Many members of my family including myself are blonde and we are Muslims. So we need to stop thinking in racial terms.
