Worst movie I've seen in recent memory is a movie called The Darkness. You wait the entire movie in suspense (I use the term loosely, you are "supposed" to feel suspense but you in fact feel none), and nothing happens.
Actually, that's not completely fair for me to say. I don't know if something happens, because I couldn't finish it. I bought it because I had heard tales of how it was the most twisted movie ever created, chilled viewers to the bone, unforgettable. I couldn't even watch the whole movie. I'd like to sit down and finish it, but I just can't imagine wasting that kind of time on it.
Another terrible movie is Very Bad Things. It's got a decent cast, but it's just the worst plot line I've ever seen; worse in fact than The Darkness. I'm just about impossible to offend, but as a movie fan in general and a DVD collector, I was offended by that movie.

plan 9 has a big cult following. there was even a 'plan 9' operating system (it was supposed to have been next-gen unix) that gained a bit of popularity in the 90s as something to tinker with.
the worst movie of all time is 'shahenshah.' i will give anyone here $100 if they watch that movie and can honestly name a single movie that's worse.
i thought batman begins sucked, i didn't see what the big deal was about it.

I remember it being boring and predictable, and I felt like I spent the whole movie waiting for it to really begin.. but it never did. |

Whatever, Batman Begins rocked, I hope Dark Knight doesn't screw it up.
Anyhoo... worst movies... 'Feel the Noise' - pitched as an exploration into reggaeton fusion music, it was go-nowhere waste of time the JLo had something to do with, although I don't know what. Not even the hot puerto rican chicks made it bearable.

I was completely disappointed, primarily with the casting. Raul Julia was the only one who was decent, and Guile? A man who's practically Captain America played by an Belgian guy. Great.
Of course the plot was horrible too, and as an avid fan of the games, it was just a train wreck to see.
At least the first Mortal Kombat was decent.
