lol, no, i know, it's craziness there. Guessing they did it at night/weekend. My first driving lesson was at the back of the school. I got teased when I stalled and a sikh kid mocked me and then my driving instructor shouted abuse at him
ok

Hahahahahaha! My friend went there. I heard its rough . But so is my school.
They were shooting that episode like Septemberish, so they probably did a bit during the hoildays, and a then the first week of school. I was all confused like, why are they changing the name of our school to Deffry Vale? . But I saw a scene with some of our school's kids in it, so they prob did it at lesson times, but took some kids out of class as extras.
ok .

Re: The 'Doctor Who' Thread!
I love Dr Who. One of the very few good programmes on the telly nowadays.
I've been watching it religiously since the first series [as in the one with Christopher Eccleston].
Anyway, Rose was amazing and I'm glad they've got her coming back. I don't really like Martha, but Donna's growing on me.
And I think Torchwood is ok, but not as good.
Anyway, I was sooo close to accepting Cardiff Uni as my firm choice so that I could run into a Dr Who filming session/crew. But, alas, I didn't.

I watched the first 3 eps and then I was like wth. this is stupid.
If a bin is moving, you dont go even more near it when dodgy stuff is happening in the area.
The tardis is like huge and noisy, how come no one notices it?
Also why does it make elephant noises when it lands?
Also I didn’t like Ecclestons jacket.
I only started watching it properly since the school episode . And then David Tennant was there and he seemed more bubbly and bouncy and full of life and he added to the fast-paced-ness of it, and I thought its was pretty good for 45mins, its quite fast paced, and I like how stories all link into each other somehow.

I’m the same about Rose, Martha and Donna. I don’t watch Torchwood. Seems dodgy. .

Yeah, I agree, it only started getting better when David Tennant became the doctor.
And yes, Torchwood IS dodgy , and the storylines are utterly rubbish - huge plot holes. But meh, when you got nothing else to watch...
I only saw Cardiff Uni when I went for my interview; it rained the whole day, and a 15 minute bus journey took an hour back to the train station and I missed the early train so I missed a show I was supposed to see that evening back in Brum. So I wasn't really feeling it. Also, it's not just one campus which I prefer. But the people were really nice, and I really wanted to see the Bay area, but there wasn't time. And I love Welsh accents .

Re: The 'Doctor Who' Thread!
A friend of mine told me to check it out on BBC America as they know I'm a bit of a SciFi freak. What a great show. I'm going to go trawling the internet for older episodes.

Yes it's a British thing. About time travel and aliens . And the Doctor is a timelord from the planet Galifrey, that last of his kind and he keeps saving the world, travels in his Police box which is phone box from way back in the day, but really it's his spaceship called the Tardis, its bigger on the inside than the outside .

The original Dr Who series was quirky..
The new Dr Who is gay...like completely..watching two blokes making eyes at each other isn't my cup of tea...

The Doctor can be androgynous at times (I don't mean him physically, but the way he interacts with other characters] Tbh, I'm not surprised cos the (re)creator, Russell T Davies is gay. Yeah. Which also explains Captain Jack and Torchwood.

Re: The 'Doctor Who' Thread!
So this series was a bit meh.
Last week was abit scary.
Last week was abit scary.
Stop doing that.
Stop doing that.
Make her stop!Make her stop!
So anyways my neice was in the kitchen the other day making me hot chocolate
and I was in the sitting room next to the kitchen, where the light switch for the kitchen is.
Her: Can somebody turn on the lights
Me: *turns on light*
Her: Who turned out the lights
Her: Who turned out the lights
Her: Who turned out the lights
Her: Who turned out the lights
Her: Who turned out the lights
Me:

Anyways Rose is back next week. It better be good.
