Re: The Apprentice 2008
So he finally went...Man, I was so waiting for Adrian Chiles to lay into him on "You're Fired" but he let him off pretty lightly.
Lee and Alex were out of line for ditching Lucinda, but she was kind of pathetic herself. I mean, she had all the paperwork about the cars, all she had to do was READ IT! Instead she went into victim mode again and whinged.
How hilarious that Michael Sophocles tried to flog a Ferrari to a Polish worker in a fruit & veg market; next to a garbage truck!! I was surprised that he wasn't into cars - I thought all guys with a pulse would have at least SOME enthusiasm for sports cars. Even I was impressed by the sight of that Zonda and I'm no car-fanatic.

Re: The Apprentice 2008
he was ready to follow him into a meeting, i would have reported him for stalking
and Lucinda was telling people she was selling a Zhonda (sp?) when it was an Aston Martin
she's annoying, whiny people make me shudder

Re: The Apprentice 2008
I kind of missed it. So Micheal the 'good jewish boy' went. I want Alan, pardon me, SIR Alan to fire 'em all, or go bankrupt and not be able to afford them anyway.

Re: The Apprentice 2008
Who doesn't know what a Pagani Zonda is?
Anyway, to be fair..I don't think Michael should've gone this time....because he should've gone LAST week, not Raef.
And it should've been Helene who got the boot this time 'round. You could see how hard Sugar was finding it when he had to decide between his beloved Micheal and the good-for-nothing Helene.
I believe he didn't fire Helene because she was all "what does his age have to do with it?" Sugar shutup sharpish after that. I guess he didn't want to get done for being agist [if such a thing exists].
But Helene's days are numbered.
And finally, as much as I don't like Claire because of what she was like at the beginning, I think she'd be the best candidate job-wise. Alex will probably win though.

Re: The Apprentice 2008
His point wasnt that she was 'too old', I think he was pointing out that he thought someone younger, who has little experience, has more mould-ability, rather than someone older who has so many years of one type of experience who may be set in her ways.

Re: The Apprentice 2008
yeah that can be seen as being prejudiced to a person's age because they're essentially saying they're not capable of being flexible when they don't know the person but judge them from a single factor.

Yeah, but he won .
I was surprised Sir Alan picked him; I was rooting for him, but I really thought Claire'd get it. Meh.
