Rendition (2007)

Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Meryl Streep, Peter Sarsgaard and Alan Arkin star in Rendition, a thriller from director Gavin Hood (Tsotsi). Witherspoon stars as the American wife of an Egyptian-born chemical engineer who disappears on a flight from South Africa to Washington. The woman desperately tries to track her husband down, while a CIA analyst (Gyllenhaal) at a secret detention facility outside the U.S. is forced to question his assignment as he becomes party to the man’s unorthodox interrogation. Rendition is scheduled for an October 19th, 2007 release.

My review based on the trailer: The whole idea of "rendition" disturbs me. I have a friend who was in the army, and he knows what they do when they ship you to a foreign country. He said that if they tried to kidnap him, he would take out as many of them with him as possible to prevent going to a foreign country for torture.
