Re: Dose Anyone Here Like Indian Movies? :)
i saw Saawariya!!!!!
ranbir is a cutie . extremely feminine.. but a cutie
compared to rabir, sonam did terrible for her first movie.
the movie had way more publicity than it deserved, to be honest
i liked it.. good story and all.. but not great.
not as great as they made it out to be.

Re: Dose Anyone Here Like Indian Movies? :)
Please, all Hrithik Roshin can do is move his hips like a girl. Hes only in movies because of his chiseled abs.
He could never pull something like this off:
Tere dil mein meri saanson ko panah mil jaaye,
Tere ishk mein meri jaan fanaa ho jaaye............subhanallah

Re: Dose Anyone Here Like Indian Movies? :)
omg. i just finished watching fanaa. what a crappy, sad love story. it reminded me of kill bill.
there were a looooot of things wrong with that movie..especially the first quarter was like wth. but if you took out the india/pak issue, the pre marital relations b/w muslim ppl, and some other stuff, the story wasnt half bad and the cinematography (spelling?) in the later half was decent.

hate is a strong word sally .
but fanaa would've been good minus the indo/paki issues that seem to ruin every movie nowadays (veer zara!) .
but sally, this is the first aamir khan movie you've seen? really ?

most new indian movies are like that. i'd never watch a movie like fanaa. the title/theme of the film itself is disrespectful. the way bollywood portrays muslims & the way they less-than-subtly encourage the indian muslim population of india to behave is disgusting.

sticks and stones........
Anyways, I always said Fanaa was a pretty crappy movie, but I said Aamir Khan's acting in it was great. How many prominent bollywood heros could play a villian? None since Amitabh Bachan.
But I thought the beginning of the movie was good, with all the shayrees. It went down hill after JollyGood died (btw, it was a super-hit in India)
Anyways, I started watching Andaz Apna Apna again, and its hilarious! I forgot most of the story since I last saw it.
