i tried to watch lagaan..it's wayyyy too long tho. i skimmed thru like 30 mins. it was kinda sad...oppressed villagers and all

might finish it later

I'm not sure if i'm the only one who thought this but I thought it was a copy off of "The Great Gatsby". oh and Sunil Shetty was mad annoying in that movie. I mean yes he was poor but his attitude wasn't good at all.

well in a sense, I guess it is somewhat like the story. But it didnt come to mind when i watching the movie

EDIT 2: Also, whats inspirational about her/the movie? I clicked on the original chaliya/whatever song and it was kareena nearly nanga, jumping around on a boat in a garbage bag mini skirt.
