if u havent watched todays episode.. dont read below..
they did a pretty good job in todays episode making us think that kate got pregnant, esp with sawyers child but now we noe its Aaron, Clairs son.
im thinking that jack somehow found out that clair is his sister, and couldnt come to grips seeing his nephew.

Its been established via the rocket experiment that there are some time differences on the Island, this will probably come into play next week.

i just assumed lost producers were boys and didn't know how big two year old babies looked 
did they say in the episode how old aaron was? if so, i totally missed it and am an idiot.

There was a lot of foreshadowing in that scene where Claire and Kate were doing the laundry and Aaron started to cry.
"Gee Kate, why don't YOU take care of him?"
"Oh, that's too bad, you should really give it a try."
It really makes me wonder what happened to the not-oceanic-6. I want Claire and her bb to get reunited.

a reminder of the others who were for some reason left on the island? I don't know.. remember how in his testimony, he said there were only 8 survivors after the plane crash. obviously, the oceanic 6 are hiding the truth about what happened.

maybe claire dies and it was somehow jack's fault? i'm guessing this is the time period, however, before jack's whole "we have to go back!!  " phase, but i'd guess he's still feeling that urge to go back to the island and right the wrongs that happened... hence, why seeing claire's basis (especially on a regular basis) would bring out such torment...
