Spoiler alert.....
locke is leading everyone in the jungle when he announces he will have to stop at "a cabin" just up north. hurley interupts locke saying "o no dude, the cabin is back that way" to which lockes face turns stone cold and asks him..."WHAT DID YOU SAY?" Ben also looks at hurley with a renewed and keen interest. Hurley replies (after realizing that he may get in some trouble) "o no dude, i thought you meant the plane cabin"

i think JACOB comes in different forms to different people. locke saw jacob in walt form while he was lying in the mass grave.... do you think that means that at the beginning, where veryone was seeing things on the island, that they were all seeing jacob in X form?
