bringing back locke into the island is going to "partially" bring him back to life, becuase remember the island is on 1996 time, not 2004, the same way all the dead ppl on the island (jack's dad, clair, etc) are still "partially" alive and can be seen.....

I just saw them....very interesting.

oh and the phone call that kate gets...the voice is played backwards. ahahaha.

I am SO glad they didn't use any of the other alternate endings.

sawyer and desmond are two of my favorite characters.

yea then the helicopter shoots up into space because as long as hurley isn't in it gravity isn't concerned. and they all die. except for sawyer, he jumped with hurley because he loves him

those alt endings were good as well except for the desmond one. someone needs to protect penny

sawyers character has made the most progress throughout the course of the show

he was like the major hater when he first got there.

as salaamu alaikum,

i dont know if anyone has mentioned this before, but im joining in this discussion way late so whatever...

anyhow, in the finale, we know that the "6" get off the island, we know how they got off, the whole story around that. fine. and then we know that the island has been moved. so they cannot return to it. and from the flashforwards, we know that in the future (at least as far as we've seen), they dont make it back again).

so following that train of thought, what would they do with those 6 people for the next 2 seasons? are they out of the picture? are they going to be seen only in flashforwards of life after the island?

then i realized.. when the creators intoduced this whole time travel thing beginning with desmond's weird flashback/flashforward episode, they pretty much threw all the rules out the window. it may be a stretch, but unless the creators have some other major change to the show's regular plot format that they havent revealed yet, i dont think its inconceievable that at least some of the 6 will return to the island by way of time travel. it just wouldnt make sense to exclude 6 of the most important main characters from the current main situation/location for the remainder of the series.

anyhow, just my thoughts.. i coudl be totally wrong.. we'll see when season 5 starts

i think the next season may be about the 6 trying to get back to the island... and with jack trying to get them all together.. i love jack

Yeah i definitely think theyre going to be headed back to the island at some point. probably sooner rather than later

question..do we know what happened to the group of people that were on the raft with daniel? did they get swallowed up with the island when it moved or are they still floating around out there?

The Wiki entry on Jeremy Bentham is interesting, esp the part about his "auto icon" preservation... with a fake wax head.

Also, I hated those alternate endings; they were just 3 different endings taped so people on the set couldn't leak out any spoilers. I was expecting alternate endings like you sometimes get on a movie dvd.
