Re: Lost
half-brothers actually. the first thing is all over the internets!
the timeline works. also:
Ben & John's Parallel Lives [Archive] - The Fuselage
Quote:
After running into the middle of the road and getting hit by a car, Emily Locke (initials: EL) gives birth to John three months premature.
During a hike near a roadside in Portland, Emily Linus (initials: EL) gives birth to Ben two months premature.
Emily Locke's nurse says "He's ok for now. He's just real early."
Roger Linus scolds young Ben for 'coming early'
As newborn preemie John is removed from the hospital room, Emily Locke calls out "His name is John! Call him John!"
As Emily Linus dies from a hemorrhage, her last words are "Call him Benjamin."
John meets Horace Goodspeed in a dream, who directs John how to find the cabin.
Roger Linus flags down a car driven by Horace Goodspeed, who later brings Roger and Ben to the Island.

i really hope jin isn't dead for real

Re: Lost
i think most of the people will end up on the freighter. and then it'll explode, killing them all. except for the 6. it makes me really sad though that jin dies

we dont noe that jin died. i dont think that everyone else is gonna die. cause when the press was asking the oceanic 6 about what happened, they obviously lied about everything and its so obvious they are hiding something big. why would jack tell kate that he wants to go back if everyone was dead for sure? kinda seems weird

Re: Lost
Some do stay alive i'm sure i remember Jack and/or Hurley talking about getting back to save them..
I think Jin dies a noble death probably trying to save the freighter.

"There is no difference whether you have a basketful or a small piece. They all taste the same," Hodja remarked.

i was thinking that too, but then i thought that maybe jack wants to get back to the island so they can go back in time to fix what happened. though, if timeloop theory is to be trusted, he can't "fix" it cuz it'd just course correct anyway.
...unless hurley's getting those visions because going back in time to save everyone is the only/best way to course correct.

I think Jack wants to get back because he knows Claires there and he wants her back as he now knows they're related.
I don't think the time loop is as easy as that..
