It was the most hilarious movie I've seen all year.

yep, its an hour and a half long episode of the show... but if you like the show, then this movie will have your sides hurting from laughter.

Spider-Pig, Spider-Pig. / Does whatever a Spider-Pig does. / Can he swing / from a web? / No he *can't*, / cause he's a *pig*. / Look out! / He is the *Spider-Pig*!

It was really an extended episode, but I still loved it. I've been watching that show for as long as I can remember.

My favorite bits had to be "Spider Pig" and Ralph's "I like men now!"

It's better than that. I think the show has gotten unwatchable lately, and the movie is a refreshing return to the things that made the show so great for its first ten seasons.

i saw the movie and i disagree that it was an extended episode. It had all the makings of a "movie" and it was an awesome movie. I'm gonna buy the DVD.

I saw the movie and it was absolutely CRAP.

It was basically one big episode. One big CRAPPY episode.

The show has been unfunny for the past 5 or so years.

Given all the recycled same old used themes from the show, I find it dissapointing that you all liked this film :

* Homer and Marge marital problems, Marge gets mad/kicks Homer out, Homer redeems himself
* Simpsons family is sucky and Flanders' are better. One of the kids wants to be / becomes a Flanders.
* Lisa has a crush
* The whole dome thing was just like when Mr Burns blocked out the sun


This film was SUCK.
