I got this theory that Sarah might still be alive.
They only showed it where Lincoln see's her severed head, but maybe the bad guys just made it out of something, to make it appear and look like it's her head, so that Lincoln knows they mean business.
Just a thought!

I had the same hope, but I dont think that would be very good for the show. I doubt they'd attempt to pull such a thing off.
