Re: Movies Watched Recently
The Lives of Others- this is a movie about a stasi officer in east berlin during the 1980s. Its really interesting, very compelling look at what life was like in East Germany. The guys who played the stasi dude and the playwright were both really good actors
Postal- this is a hilarious comedy, for anybody who likes low brow humor (and i do mean low). I usually hate Uwe Boll's movies but this was a masterpiece in comparison to the others. lots of hilarious gags and burns on public figures, with some 9/11 conspiracy nonsense too

Re: Movies Watched Recently
The Rules of Attraction
uh... it was pretty pointless. yet another movie about the vices and sordid love affairs of rich new england college students. except dirtier, with less humor, and less plot than usual.

Re: Movies Watched Recently
Death Race- cool action movie with tons of over-the-top explosions and car stunts. It was just like a videogame
Persepolis- this movie is an animated version of a graphic novel about a girl growing up in iran and europe, which was good.. but the movie was so closely adapted from the comic that it was a little bit boring

it was good...not spectacular, but good. It was also hard to watch at times cuz he was stabbing people and they showed it
