^ I saw it a few years ago, also late. The truck-crashing scene was amazing! The truck-flipping scene in the Dark Knight was also amazing. Optimus Prime was my favorite Transformer. I like trucks.

Control

a biopic of the lead singer of Joy Division's life and the events leading up to his suicide. the movie was interesting, but it kind of pissed me off. there were only two completely sympathetic (minor) characters in the movie. one was mentally disabled, and the other was an infant

Really? I didn't like it very much, it was trying to be funny but i just kept thinking 'what a bunch of idiots!' Have you seen Nameste London? That's pretty good.

What on earth is this Hellboy movie about?! Elves are bad and demons are good why do people always have to mess with reality

I'm not sure whether to watch Zeitgeist, Educating Rita or It's A Wonderful Life.

Its that kind of comedy you either get or you don't.

Hellboy is based on a comic book. Hellboy is a demon that was accidently transported to earth. He fights demons and such.

Educating rita is pretty good..if i remember rightly..its a book or play originally...

zeitgeist was interesting, but kind of farfetched. and the two halves of the film have nothing to do with each other. i also wish the producers had refrained from using dramatic spooky music to further their points.

I think it's a good book, i thought the film was better than the book. She's certainly not a Khaled Hosseini but i liked what she wrote about rather than her writing.

Hmm, i think it's just comedy you either find funny or you don't

Yup, i was talking more about the recent finding of how elves are bad and hellboys are good

I've heard really good reviews about it actually, it's got micheal caine in.

The Wild One

Is it just me, or are the bikers terrorizing the small city in this movie just a bunch of fifties goody-goodies who happen to ride motorcycles and wear leather jackets? I have very few claims to true badassness, but I'm still more badass than any of the characters in this movie. I've actually been arrested.

Ooh, i've seen Good Night and Good Luck, i liked it. It had really good social significance at the time it came out in cinema as well.

I watched Hellboy, ok i get the point of it now. I still don't think they should depict elves as evil

I think it's time to watch all three of the extended versions of lord of the rings again. I can't count how many times i've seen them now
