Saw it recently, thought it was stupid. Reminded me of a Bollywood film.

I'm getting some really bad reviews and they're all crap. It's not going to be some hot, spanking movie. It's Indiana Jones, it has to pride itself for being crap. It had the evil enemies, the traitor, the relic hunting, a tad bit of the supernatural, exciting adventures, plus with the new spin of him being old and having a family.
I thought it was wicked. Any Indiana Jones fan would love it.

yeah..I stopped at the part where the guard beat the crap out of one of the prisoners that broke down crying. I can't watch stuff like that without getting mad/sad.

Yeh, but it makes the redemption part even better at the end!

Have you ever watched it to the end? You may have seen the Shawshank, but there is also... Redemption. As cheesy as it sounds.
It's one of the greatest movies of all time, as far as I'm concerned. I'd highly recommend stomaching the scenes like that for the ending if you haven't.

Without spoiling it, I'll say that after what the agent said at the end I was pretty much expecting the after-credits piece. I can't wait for what they do next. Iron Man was so amazing, what they do next can't possibly be anything less than excellent.

I'll agree with that last part, but I'll add this: Any Indiana Jones purist will hate it.
I'm not an Indiana Jones purist, but I agree with a couple of the major things I've heard the purists say.

Re: Movies Watched Recently
suicide club.
i didnt like it much, but i've heard that half the meaning is lost in translation. apparently, the the other half was lost on me because i dont know a whole lot about japanese society. so all that i gained from the movie was a whole bunch of gratuitous blood and gore.
