Re: Movies Watched Recently
Iron Man- good stuff
Gone Baby Gone- awesome
Made of Honour- How was this different from My Best Friend's Wedding? At all? My friends forced me to go see it. It was either that or Iron Man again, which I had seen just the day before. Should've gone with Iron Man again.

Really? I'm very glad you said that. I've got two passes to see it and I'm taking the little woman down to the theater tomorrow to check it out. I've been very excited since I found about it, but I didn't want them to pull a Live Free or Die Hard.

It doesn't make Muslims look bad, it makes terrorists look bad. I didn't feel that way at all, and if you insist on making the association of "terrorists = Muslims" then to avoid any spoilers I'll just say that the terrorists aren't the worst guys in that movie.
But to answer the question, yes it really was that awesome. And then some more awesome, with a side of awesome.

Re: Movies Watched Recently
yeah agreed with shotgun. it doesn't make Muslims look bad. There's even a good Muslim guy in it that acts as Lucius Fox for Iron Man. He's cool.
Just saw Indiana Jones. I felt like I was back in the 80s. They don't try to modernize it, they really stick to the same action and schtick which made the first 3 movies famous. It seems a little outdated when you compare it to today's technology and filmaking styles. But i liked being transported back to the movie days of my youth. FUn fun.

This is exactly what I thought about it. It doesn't deviate from what made the first three great, it doesn't get all over the top like Die Hard did, really it's just a great film from start to finish that feels right in line with the previous ones. They definitely did the trilogy justice with this one.
