I mean it's a freaking tiny hotel room, and she had maybe 10 seconds to hide it. But I guess then none of the ensuing, even greater absurdities wouldn't have been able to occur, and there would've been no movie.

I never thought a movie that had both Amitabh AND Pran in it could be so horrible.

Meenaxi had the goods. Dunno why she didn't act more. Her clothing was awful, though. Besharam. I guess that was back before they felt comfortable showing cleavage, so they made up for it by showing leg.

The girl who played Amitabh's "bhen" in the film was the mom in Sarkar. Time does take it's toll..

I know I watched that movie when I was really young; I hardly remember it

But your comments are hilarious!! AB is just overrated

so true. and you probably didn't even see the worst part, toward the end. they had footage of this tiny girl (5 or 6 years old), passionately describing the wretched way in which she has to live. she was talking about how when the israeli soldiers demolished her house, most of her toys got ruined, and she wasn't even able to enjoy the sunglasses and the necklace her daddy had given her for her birthday
it may sound like something mundane when compared to the greater misery of the larger situation. but in the context of a film about concepts so difficult to imagine on a personal level, it just put things in perspective. it made you realize how innocent every child is, and how much of an effing shame it is that anyone could be robbed of the simple joys of childhood.

i was so overwhelmed, i almost left the room. i was honestly bawling (don't worry, i was quiet)

If anyone wants to watch the documentary for free, someone posted it on Google Video. I stronggggggggly recommend it.

I was pretty cised to see 21 until I saw that it had a 32% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Then again, all of the Saw movies got terribad reviews; I think Saw IV got like a 20% and I loved them all.

I'm just looking forward to Iron Man and The Dark Knight... Nothing's come out worth watching since Cloverfield if you ask me; even that was pretty mediocre.

Here's why that whole premise is not believable, and made me stay away from that movie: Harvard (particularly the med school) is freakin' loaded. If you get in, you'll get a very generous financial aid package, because the people at Harvard know they're getting the best and brightest and they don't want to lose them to some state college for financial reasons.
