at first I didn't get why he was going after all the others after he was done experimenting when he just wanted the redhead's scent but then I remembered the 12 notes thing so that was clever how they combined perfumery details with his murders. It was like Frankenstein becomes a perfumer. (and clearly he had a thing for redheads as top notes).

yeah. the movie made me interested in reading the novel but most of the plot is spoiled to me now so it probably wont be as good. Its a very imaginative story though. I actually liked the movie alot

Is that the one with Patrick Swayze playing a doctor? I saw that one years ago and still remember it.

Re: Movies Watched Recently
No that's City of Joy. City of God is one of the best films ever made. EVER.
I saw Last King of Scotland--I really liked it (if you liked Blood Diamond, you'll like this one).
Shooter--plain dumb, skip it.
Umrao Jaan (the new one)---disappointment. Beautiful costumes, beautiful sets, beautiful girl, but horrible acting, especially by Abishek. I wanted to throw my show at his wooden face. Blech. Aishwarya was so-so, needs improvement. Badly.

i loved city of god, that was a fantastic movie from brazil. and i also liked the last king of scotland, since i didnt really know the story behind edi amin.
you should also catch carandiru too. is also a true story about the largest prison in south america and the prison riots that went on there in the 80's. i actually look like one of the characters lol
