I saw bhul bhulaya. Its the first bollywood movie I've seen In the longest time. I thought it was supposed to be a comedy...but its the worst movie ever! The only thing that could ever be worse is a Shah Rukh Khan movie.

Still, I'm not sure what message the movie is trying to send.
her brothers were angry, because of the way thier father was killed. and that was what the story was about. the madness that ensued during the partition riots of 1947. but actually he converted so he could goto pakistan to get his wife. because of refugee resettelement, any muslim could just walk across the border, but once they crossed the border there's no going back, they were now officially pakistani citizens.

Partition sounds like a really lame movie

anyway I just watched Hellraiser 4, and I thought it was great for 2 reasons. first, it was very short, under 90 minutes. Second, alot of the killings were very creative and brutal and well animated. The story made no sense, it was just nonsense designed to give pinhead and his girlfriend lots of opportunities to kill people

Well its an interesting part of history and could be the setting of a good movie because of how dramatic the event was and the magnitude of the changes, etc. You dont have to be a scholar of the spanish civil war to go watch Pan's Labyrinth and like it either (even though I didnt like it).

It just seems like a stupid movie. If i download it or watch it on dvd someday i might actually like it, who knows... it just seems bad

Anyway...

American Gangster was a good movie. One of the cool things about it was seeing the old Harlem recreated on screen, the way it was when my dad was living there. I love historical movies about new york

I like Kenneth Branagh, he's a good actor. I was watching that part in Godfather yesterday, where Michael is in hiding after killing the cop and Virgil Sollozzo and how he sees the girl Apollonia and just casually and coolly tells her father that he wants to marry her. bollywood should try something like that, no fantasy and no long-winded, stupid songs...

Shahrukh Khan looked horrible and old. What was he thinking starring opposite a 21 year old kid! Seriously, if the plot was good, it would have been easier to overlook the stupidity of this teenager-wannabe uncle. I liked him best in Swades.
I have not seen Swades. Shame, I know, since everybody says it's good. Must rent it sometime.

I dunno the girl is, but Shahrukh takes off his shirt?!

Yeah. And that supposed to be nice, I guess? He even wears his trousers low, you want to look away in shame.

i'm getting tired of him now, he's way too old.
he needs to realize that and play roles of uncles and grandfathers like Amitabh now
(i mean c'mon, he played opposite a 21year old ? i didn't even know that!)
disgusting

PS: why is everyone surprised he's topless in the movie?
it's not the first time is it?
