Why are Muslims electing men who promise to continue the dubious “War on Terror?” What is the sense of urgency that they see in the voting process? What are the arguments that these Muslims use? Are they truly rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah? What are the Rebuttals to their arguments? Which side is rooted in the Kitaab and Sunnah more? This is not an attempt to insult Muslims who vote or declare them disbelievers. Rather, this is an honest attempt to dive deep into the issue of voting for disbelievers and weigh it on the scales of Shari’ah. We invite you to our 1 week series entitled, “Why Voting is Kufr.” In this week, we will post one entry a day, for seven days, regarding this vital issue of voting for disbelievers and how it’s supposed to be looked at. It is a tall claim, nevertheless, it is an open minded approach to come to terms with reality and realizing the consequences of abandoning the book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam.
