While I am a Muslim and proud to be one, I do take GREAT personal offense at the way you use the term "pagan". Pagans have nothing to do with what you are angry about.

Once you have embraced Islam, your relation with Allah and Muslims should be stronger than with Pagans that you belonged to in the past. Sahaba are an example to this situation. They fought their Pagan relations in Ghazawaat.

Don't waste your type Irish, it's obvious this person's mind is made up. They don't care what you have to say. THey are either a real life arm chair jihadi who is either too young, too broke, or too cowardly to buy their own ticket to Afghanistan to fight for their "cause", or some FBI person pretending to be an internet jihadi looking to convert some poor confused Muslim to their cause so they can have yet another entrapment case which will be loudly publicized right before the start of next years presidential elections so the Republicans can use us to whip up fear again just like they did last year with Shariah and Mosques.

Either way it's best to put this person on ignore and not respond to them. at all.

The tolerance level of Christianized Muslims is very low, they respond as much as they are dictated or brainwashed by their Hollywood News and Cartoon Network.

my relations have nothing to do with the fact that openly disrespecting another persons religion is unIslamic and wrong.

You can go ahead and represent Islam by hating everyone else. I, however, will follow the Qur'an: "To me my way, to you your way."

Abraham or Ibrahim alayhis salam was monotheist, while Christians are Polytheists/Mushrikeen. How can Christianity be 'Abrahamic'? Even the Pagans were 'Abrahamic' or 'Adamian' if you trace them back in the past. The point is what they are now, they are Pagans, Mushrikeen, Kuffar.

*bangs head on the desk*

Oh my God. Please attend a church sermon or at LEAST take a theology class or an anthropology class. Christians are Abrahamic. Every other person in the entire world seems to understand this except you.

"The" Pagans does not exist. You cannot say that Paganism was Abrahamic once upon a time. There is no such thing as ONE Paganism that was any one thing. Wicca, Astaru, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, Jainism, Shamanism...all of those things are pagan and come from all four corners of the globe. Perhaps the Arab pagans had Abrahamic ties, but Celtic pagans certainly did not until the indigenous pagan religion was combined with Christianity in order to convert pagans into Christians. However, while many Christian holidays and Christian traditions are taken from the pagan faiths that they had conquered at the time and blended into, Christianity is NOT a pagan religion. Christianity is Abrahamic which is what separates it from the "pagan" category.

Best comment you've made so far.

Edited update: Just noticed that he's been banned. Completely agree with that decision.

I'm amazed he managed to stick around as long as he did without attracting any mod attention. In the glory days he would have been banned by his third day.
I'm sorry if my insensitivity toward your beliefs offends you. But guess what - your religious wars, jihads, crusades, inquisitions, censoring of free speech, brainwashing of children, murdering of albinos, forcing girls into underage marriages, female genital mutilation, stoning, pederasty, homophobia, and rejection of science and reason offend ME. So I guess we're even.

I know exactly what was happening in Libya, and I also know that the anti-Ghaddafi Libyans, amidst being targetted and massacred by Ghaddafi's forces, didn't want any foreign intervention:

The fact that the Libyans being targetted and massacred had no say with regards to foreign intervention, shows that it, and those behind it, really don't have the interests of the Libyan people in mind.

You plainly do not know what is going on in Libya, initially yes the so called rebels wanted to do it on their own, but when faced with defeat they ask for protection in the form of a "No fly" zone, they now asked to be armed by the west

Okay this guy has been banned. But I find this post the most ironic of all considering the news source he quotes is from the Agence France-Presse (AFP) which has a long association with Reuters and Associated Press - a western 'ZIONIST PROPAGANDA MACHINE'!

Capitals are my emphasis but see quote below.

Too funny.

And then I accidentally repped him when meaning to hit the reply button! :nerd:

Ah, the irony just goes on and on. :giggle:

Really? I seem to have missed that news item where the Libyan rebels actually asked for foreign assistance. Can you please direct me to it?

I hope for your case you weren't betting any money, since I did read it:

Quote

...

The Benghazi-based rebel leadership has called for a no-fly zone and airstrikes against the regime. Former justice minister Abdel Jalil, one of its leading members who had a price put on his head by the regime yesterday, said that the West must "help to protect Libya's people from Gaddafi's assault and help put an end to his war". ...
