My youngest son has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It was caught early, is easily treated, and is curable. He will have to undergo chemotherapy, though, and endure the side effects. He is 18, healthy otherwise, and the prognosis is good. Please keep him in your prayers. Wado (thank you).

Wado (thank you) for all of your prayers and kind words. He starts chemotherapy 9/1 and will undergo some tests tomorrow and friday. Right now he is out with his friends watching a soccer game.

I do have faith that whatever happens is God's will and for His glory. This is a time of testing for all of us, and He tests most those He loves most. Hardships and trials are for our benefit, our purification and strengthening. So in all things I will give thanks.

May all of you and yours be blessed, may His hand guide you and shield you and draw you closer.

I'm not a praying kinda guy, but I'll hope for him.
I'm sorry if my insensitivity toward your beliefs offends you. But guess what - your religious wars, jihads, crusades, inquisitions, censoring of free speech, brainwashing of children, murdering of albinos, forcing girls into underage marriages, female genital mutilation, stoning, pederasty, homophobia, and rejection of science and reason offend ME. So I guess we're even.

The procedures today went well and he feels fine. Tests tomorrow. Again many many thanks for the prayers and kind thoughts.

Good luck to your son and to your family! It never ceases to amaze me how you can literally just see even horrible looking disease melt away under chemotherapy in lymphoma patients -- God willing your son will do just fine. All the best.
I saw a beggar leaning on his wooden crutch,
He said to me, "You must not ask for so much."
And a pretty woman leaning in her darkened door,
She cried to me, "Hey, why not ask for more?"
Oh, like a bird on the wire, like a drunk in a midnight choir,
I have tried in my way to be free.

Again thanks for your prayers. This is still a bit surreal. Getting all kinds of medical advice from people who are not doctors or even medical assistants (nobody here, thank God), which I thank them for and pretty much let go- I'm not going to play roullett with my son's life and health. BS is still BS even when its well-intentioned.

Will keep y'all posted on things. ALl y'all are in my prayers as well.
