as salaamu alaikum,
i'm not great with photoshop otherwise i'd do it myself. but can anyone do an update of the current logo? like polish it a bit, lighten the colors, make it shiny and fresh. basically make it more web 2.0-esque. i think that would be kinda cool.

i tried a crescent moon but it looked too desified.
I'll try to post a couple of more variations of this if i get the time.

hmm...i kinda like it....i think it's a bit tall....maybe play with the arabic being off to the left?
i'm digging the play with "unity"....there's definitely something there.
A pretty simple one. No hearts this time.
very clean...i'm digging the font but not so much the graphical "burst" thingy.
hah...this is a spitting image of one of our previous graphical treatments....i think this was v2 of the site....islamica news looked a lot like this...what's the font? hmm...i think it was a newsgothic or something right?
i like the play with character spacing here....maybe flip it though...it seems to read "community islamica".
i love the graphical treatment/overlay....not so much the fonts...the blocky one i like too (for the same reason) but i'm just not digging the fonts for some reason....
