i am going through a pretty rough period in my life, my relations with family (dad) and (mom) is at a very low point. The problem is i feel that they are controlling my life and to a large extent they are, i am an adult (26) and i dont know why are they treating me like this. This is reason i have decided to finally move out by the end of this year. But i want to go out peacefully, so i can have a normal relationship with them down the road. What is the best way to move out peacefully? Any of you have experience in this matter?

They are controlling your life because you are still their child until you get married. Deal with it like any other person does and be respectful. Until you're and adult in their eyes you'll get treated this way.

When rambo first joined as a user named betaab his age was set at 33, that was about four years ago so now he's probably in his late thirties. He's changed alot of facts about his life because there is no way for us to verify online, especially since all of Islamica's posts pre-2008 have been wiped out.

I learnt on Wikipedia after watching the movie American Psycho, and later verified through a friend who is a medical student studying psychiatry, that compulsive lying, especially pertaining to one's identity is indicative of psychopathy.

When we take into account Rambo's denial of his ethnic background, his obsession with porn and scatological material and his prior admission of having been arrested for stalking a woman, we can safely conclude that he is indeed a psycho.

It's no surprise his mother hates him...lol

Psychopathy is kind of a hard thing to gauge....
there's a Psychopathy checklist that was developed by a Canadian psychiatrist, but psychopaths are so good at lying they can many times fool judges, police, and psychologists and psychiatrist.
I know a muslim who is a psychopath; and subhanAllah, he is so manipulative and lies so much and has done horrible things in his life, but he feels no remorse. I think he would rank almost 40 (40 is the highest anyone get can get on this psychopath scale).
I wanted to warn people in the muslim community, but I was told by someone not to bring it up unless this person is brought up by someone in conversation first. It's just that he's dangerous...no he doesn't want to kill anyone, but he expresses very bad ideas and still has a prison mentality which doesn't seem to go away.

Psychopathy tends to wear down in one's 50's...and there's little treatment out there for it.

you have to be in my situation. You see pakistani parents are not like white parents, white parents are more open minded. Pakistanis parents just live in their small world and want their children to be the exact same way and they are very disspointed if you dont follow them. The whole thing has to do with the backward pakistani culture, i am not blaming my parents for this, i am blaming the whole culture. This is one of reasons i also want to marry a white girl, simply because i dont to live in this close minded culture any more. I want my children to grow in a open minded environment.

I know plenty about Pakistani parents. Most Muslim cultures are exactly the same. You need to grin an bear it out of respect for your parents. They raised you and until you get married theres not much you can do.

I am not saying i will disrespect them, thats why i said moving out peacefully. Ofcourse i want to continue good relations with them after i move out, but i dont want them to control every aspect of my life.

Do you have a job man ? If that is the case, then the first step for your independance is to stop being financially dependant on them and the second step is to get a house or an appartement where to live ==> When they see you start doing things like an adult, they wont be able / or feel the necessity to control your life anymore.

Financial independance ==> That's the big key.

It ws definitely you. You got warned to stay away by the police but they didn't have the evidence to press charges.
