I'm more of a "youngster" Islamican, both in the way that I'm new, and a whole lot younger than most people here. But I'm still cool! Honest!

Since Islamica was created till now, people have always been complaining about how much it sucks and looking back nostalgically at some supposed golden age. It's like how the conservatives--Glenn Beck, Hannity, Orielly, etc.--always talk about how America was so much better back in the day...

lol the last i remember he became a salafi because they don't really pray their sunnah and nafl salah :eek:

umm, no.

i became salafi for aqidah reasons, namely the issue of tawhid (istighata in particular, shrines/graves, etc.) and the question of where is Allah [swt]...it had nothing to do with praying sunnah or nafl, which most salafis do pray.

i still agree with the salafis on these aqidah issues...i'm just a modernist on so many issues that it becomes difficult to place me in the same bin as salafis.
