Valley girl accents ought to be considered a form of torture, and be outright banned.

Put a belt around your head so it doesn't explode, and then fast forward to 1:42

very crappy place. it's like a bigger version of luton or bradford.

it's basically tom tancredo's worst nightmare. actually any white person's worst nightmare.

No it's not. I grew up in and around Brum and have loads of family there. Different areas are worse than others.

The Glaswegian accent is notoriously difficult to understand. Brummie on the other hand is very easy in comparison.

Birmingham is ok...depends what you're doing there and who you're going with. I like the whole shopping thing going on with Bullring.

uggghhh. been here just over a year. Alhamdulillah i've had the chance to visit lots of places in england. out of all the places, london is probably the only place i wouldn't mind living in for while. manchester is ok, we go there often, but i assume i'd get sick of that too if i lived there for a bit. bath is probably one of the most beautiful cities we've been too. you kind of feel like you're in a different world out there. very relaxing. we went to see the stone henge right before visiting bath which was amazing :)

life style is just so different here and very very expensive compared to the US.

oh and apparently I'M the one with the accent. i have to repeat myself so many times. oh and i bump into everyone because not only do they drive on the left side, they walk on the left side.

p.s. i miss target.

Just be lucky you're not in the US right now. I fell into nasty debt and am so sick of the politicos that I'm considering emigration for awhile once I'm back on my feet.
I'm sorry if my insensitivity toward your beliefs offends you. But guess what - your religious wars, jihads, crusades, inquisitions, censoring of free speech, brainwashing of children, murdering of albinos, forcing girls into underage marriages, female genital mutilation, stoning, pederasty, homophobia, and rejection of science and reason offend ME. So I guess we're even.

bullring is overrated. its actually pretty small. i prefer arndale and trafford in manchester and meadowhall in sheffield. if you want an ok shopping center here, merry hill is the better option.
