I had a meatball one just yesterday. The more different fillings I try, the more I like tuna :)

chicken parmesan is a good sandwich too.

Is the Chicken Teriyaki any good? Whenever I make it for customers and heat it up, it smells really good. I'm considering trying some.

Yep! I get free food at Subway. I used to get chicken and meatball sandwiches, but I've discovered their pizza is really good. I also get free cookies, pretzels, drinks, etc.

Does the Subway meatball sub have pork in it?

My job is sucking recently I got guilt tripped into doing my managers job because I'm a nice guy and can't say no to begging. Only to realize i'm not getting the same pay. If i kick up a stink about it they can and will reduce my hours. I'm in between a rock and a hard place.

This ramadan has not gone well for me at all. :/

Their food however tastes great. :-/

Nope. It's pure beef. Even the "cold cut trio" (ham, salami, bologna) is turkey based.

Correct. The only things that are pork are the ham and bacon. Everything else is chicken, turkey, or beef based.

Here's my recommendation:

1) foot-long meatball sub
2) broccoli and cheese soup
3) cinnamon pretzel

Subway is one of my favorite fast food places. Cheap, somewhat healthy, and tasty! My favorite is the oven roasted chicken breast with melted american cheese, chipotle southwest sauce, and all the veggies, with some salt and pepper :nervous:

However, I have had just about everything on their menu and its all good :look: I love the seafood combo and the tuna too.

I dont think they have chicken parmesan here at subway. But having eating another dish with parmesan in it, I think my taste buds would deem it average.

I've tried tiryaki a couple of times, its okay... a bit too dry for me.

If my employer sees this, I want him to know that I love working at Subway, but I think this is a funny picture.

yesterday, a paranoid schizophrenic at my job told me he was going to kill his parents. i began to counsel him and see if he could be redirected...i turned my back to fill out some paperwork (which is protocol whenever someone has a behavior that is atypical even for their diagnosis) and he ran out the door with a butter knife in his hand.

my life is crazy al hamdulilah. i love working with real people. real problems. and real lives.

i also, work as a freelance interpreter. today, i had an apt with an OT. i translated for an elderly old woman. paralysed old woman. had a car accident almost a year ago. she can barely take care of herself. on top of her injuries from the car accident. she recently slipped on the ice and broke her right arm. she had a cast on. that made her mobility even more difficult. subaAllah she's in late 60s to early 70s. lives in her apartment. housing. all by herself. her medically history was just. endless. her counter was filled with meds. her wallet was stuffed with appointment cards. she can barely cook/clean things for self. and her living condition was very poor. she hardly had a blanket to wrap around herself. she didn't have much possessions except two mattress laying in her living room and a couple of pots and pans in her kitchen. with a light bedsheet to cover herself. and a radio to keep her entertained. with a light sweater to fight the canadian winter. photos of her family as her family.

she wasn't one of those women that i have previously interpreted for..where they'd fake their inabilities. she was real. her problem was real. her life was real. as the OT would ask all these questions. she'd smile for her most of her answers. but, then..there was this point during the appointment that hit me. so bad that i teary. i couldnt take her pain nor her problems anymore. i tired hard to choke back my tears. i couldn't. i just couldn't. my voice cracked. and my eyes became wet. my mind and heart were tearing up inside.

i know that the OT picked up and i tried acting all cool and pretend that i was numb to my feelings. but, i couldnt. and i looked in his eyes to see if he saw what i saw. i didn't see anything. or did he? he is just a white Caucasiac middle class guy. i dont think he can relate or can he?

then i began appreciating that everything i have. then i started counting my blessings. almost felt like that i'm too rich to be poor. too blessed to be cursed. my life's problem were too small in front of hers. so, I thank Allah swt for an experience such as this.
