Ok, this is like the 6th thread on the subject, but the list is revised. I recently got a job, so I should have $8000 by October. Hopefully, I can buy my car then if I hopefully don't have to buy a car sooner.

I've revised my list down to several cars (including some Japanese ones for the Desis who like those). I really have my heart set on the HHR (I've wanted one since 2005), but the other choices are fine too.

What do you think of the following cars:

Chevrolet HHR:

Dodge Caliber:

Mazda3 Hatchback:

as salaamu alaikum,

scion xB: a corolla in a box. probably the best value and quality
pontiac vibe: same as a toyota matrix
mazda3: good value for a sporty hatchback... probably the most versatile and stylish

i'd stay away from anything GM currently makes. maybe they'll shape up soon, but right now you'd be spending a lot of money for something that will depreciate a whole lot in a short time and will have little resale value (assuming its still in good repair).

you're right, my mistake. so it wont be the quickest one, but you can still count on the quality.

Asalaamualaikum,

Seriously dude, 6th thread on the same subject? Shouldn't there be some merging going on right about now? How come you just don't update your other ones instead of making a new one whenever there is a new variable?

Good point. My suggestion is just to ignore the other Wolfn Car threads and focus the attention on this one. Donchyaknow? :)

I'm going to buy one more carnivorous plant and my collection should be complete for the next several years (hoping that none of them die).

Shoes on the other hand.........well, there are more shoes I want. Including a pair of $200 boots.

Once I'm done with the plants and shoes, there is nothing I really want after that besides a car, so I should be able to start spending basically all of my money. I should save up an extra $2000 in the next two or three months.

I'm Black and I love Japanese cars. Mostly Honda, but I am currently driving a Nissan. I once had a BMW though, it was SO neat:faint:

I have no idea which of those cars are Japanese...I thought none of them. (I know nothing about cars.) Nonetheless, it is against the desi law to drive a Scion.

Seriously wolfn, I would try finding a girl instead of a car, because you need major help when it comes to these things :monkey: I agree with Laimuun, all of those cars are ugly as sin, not to mention American made hunks of junk. Desis are not the only people who buy Japanese; the top 2 selling cars in America (the Camry and the Civic) are both Japanese.

They are ugly boxes on wheels, only good for reliability and gas mileage.
