but what i found really interesting is the dichotomy he draws between art and writing.
most writing is art (or a craft, rather) and writers are artists.
just reading that... he's definitely a writer. plus, i'm not familiar with his work, but if he draws comics, then in his line of work, he uses the written word as part of his art anyway.
language is often inadequate, of course, but that's for anything. the written word though is one of the strongest ways of expressing emotion. especially love. it's a poetic feeling.

dude, tycho is a FANTASTIC writer. i am not a gamer, but i still check in penny's written updates now and then cuz he'll occasionally post some blurbs about whatever.
