What are your controversial views?

-i think prostitution should be legalized.
But if it's legalised, then prostitutes will have to pay taxes. The government and therefore society will be profiting off prostitution. Just on that one point alone, it seems totally unethical to me.
There are so many reasons why prostitution should not be legalised. Have you thought this through?

my views on abortion, prostitution, and marijuana are based mostly upon the fact that people are going to resort to them, no matter what. legality allows for regulations to be made, and regulations encourage safety.
It also promotes degradation of society. Once something is "accepted" then people are encouraged to get into the deeper filthier aspects of life until they turn into animals. Where then will it end?

All religions should be taught in-depth in all schools.
Yes to legalizing abortion, same-sex marriage and possibly sex work and cannabis.
Yes to universal health care, including dental work and optometry.
No to death penalty. Rapists and murderers should get lifelong sentences though. Only reason I say no though is 'cause a lot of people on death row are innocent and I don't have that much faith in judicial systems.
No to abstinence-only sex ed. It's doing your kids a disservice.
Israel has the right to exist.
That's all I can think of right now.
Most of your views are gonna be controversial to somebody or the other...

Pro gay marriage
Cops should not be able to write pricey tickets in order to fund the government
Speeding should be decriminalized if it is under 100 mph
I think illegal aliens should be left alone as this country would crumble without their hard work
I think illegals should be given drivers licenses and proper IDs, as this country was founded by Illegals, and was built on the backs of so called "illegal immigrants"
I think polygamy has gotten a bad rep, especially in recent times
Pro women's choice to abort
Cigarettes should be illegal
More in depth testing at the DMV, especially for older people, asians, and women
I think the Palestinians should leave Palestine for their own safety
I thought Stealth was a good movie

Don't these conflict?
Anyway, is the legalization of marijuana really controversial? Americans support medical marijuana overwhelmingly and are pretty close to a majority for legalization in small amounts.
For some odd reason, Americans would rather support authoritarian politicians that steal their freedom along with their money.
