i can't buy drug store foundation. it's never the right shade and the amount of money you spend with trial and error end up being the same as department store foundation. teint idole ultra by lancome W4 is amazing! my skin literally looks flawless when i use it, and that's before any conceler or powder.

i'm a bit of an eyeshadow addict :faint: urban decay, mac pigments, mac paints, l'oreal HIP it's alllllll so much fun to play with. actually, i have an impulse to buy any super pigmented eyeshadow. this eyeshadow addiction is pretty recent... a while ago, i couldn't blend colors to save my life and then i was introduced to the wonderful world of youtube tutorials  and i agree with whoever said that the brown smokey eye is way easier to pull of than the black.. but the black, when done right and for the right occasion, can't be beat.

oh, and i swear by urban decay primer potion. it ain't gonna stay if there's no primer.

How is the coverage on the lancome? light/medium/heavy?

i think it's very medium. meaning, it completely covers any blemishes and imperfections on the face, but it doesn't feel like a mask.
also a good thing about is that it comes in a variety of shades, and if you get a good sales associate, they do a thorough job of finding the right shade.
btw, i just found out that lancome and l'oreal are owned by the same company. i wonder if l'oreals true match foundation W4 would be the same as the lancome W4. if that is the case,i will gladly switch to drug store l'oreal foundation and someone's going to be saving $30 each foundation refill time

I love mascara ;)

The three that I usually wear and LOVE are imju fiberwig mascara, Chanel Inimitable multi-dimensional and Dior blackout...The Chanel and Dior are amazing :faint: But overall I prefer the Chanel, cause it separates, lengthens and thickens, but if you're not careful with the Dior it can get clumpy sometimes.

One of the reasons I don't use drugstore makeup is because alot of them have cornstarch in them and that makes me break out. I love Lancome but I find that Laura Mercier is awesome too. They are both very silky and have a silky finish. Unless you have really bad skin, Lancome does a good job at coverage.

shadha, i think it's pretty sheer, so you can build coverage. lol think of it like a huge chapstick that you apply to your cheeks? and yes, agreed, the pretty packaging is a plus; they really know what draws girls to products, haha.

I'll bet their talking about relationships and clothes.

shadha-

the concept sounds werid i agree...but in sephora we tried it on...i tried on purple and my friend tried on blue...it was the hottness

It doesent look good though if you have alot of eyeshadow on too though..cause then its like tooo much on your eyes. It nice simple way to add some color to your eyes without having to go the whole way.
