man, i cant take this class..thanks to the hours of it being offered

mondays...7 - 10 pm..in the university area which is downtown aka CRIME CENTRAL..esp at night. there is no way on earth id want to be in an area like that past daylight..just way too risky...ummm...this citys downtown was featured in the top ten crime cities for 2007..and has been on that list for a few years or more than a few years in a row

so it sucks..but i can just take that class on sunnipath..

there's an Islamic Finance class being offered at my Uni next semester. apparently it's one of a kind and you'd find this kinda class in like less than a handful of universities in the continent. apparently islamic financing is becoming more and more popular and attracting a lot of interest/attention due to its awesome nature

it has no pre requisites. and there will be a lot of guest speakers, lectures, etc. ive never taken finance or econ cuz i think theyre hella boring so like, i wonder how i'd do in it.

im gonna email the Prof. but im scared cuz the email i got from the MSA about it said that we can sign up for the class and while it has no pre reqs, the Professor can decide on who to let in and who he cant..so if i go, um HI IVE NEVER TAKEN A FINANCE CLASS BEFORE, he'd be like go away

This semester:
The Qur'an

Next semester:
Five Books of Moses
Hindu Epic
Gender and Genre
Gender in Islam
Cinema Studies
Contemporary Lit. from the Caribbean

I'm excited. :roller: :roller:

Okay, no Hindu Epic. My Eastern Religions prof is gone and I wouldn't wanna take Hindu Epic with anybody else. It's not even being offered, it turns out.

On the waitlist for "Feminism and Anthropology" though.

Sal: Awww, that sucks.

I remember taking one class at 7-10 in my first year.
First-year Econ: micro and macro.

 Best time of my life. But I learned nothing about economics. :blobred:

:blobblue:

I'm so excited.
I might just get into this one "Muslim & Islamic Cultures" class. I really, really hope I do. I'm on the waitlist. Ahhhhhhh.

I sat in on the class today and it was amazing.
I want.

I already dropped my Caribbean Lit, hoping to get into it.

Ahhhh, okay.

This is stupid, but I might drop another one and take Gospels instead. Dunno which one I'll drop. Probably my Anthro class, depending on how Cinema Studies is.

Stupid first week of class is just so... stupid.

I wanna get into that Music class and the prof won't add any more spaces.
And the Anthro prof won't reply about whether I can take the course or not (I don't have the pre-reqs).
And also, my Supervisor of Studies needs to reply soon about something.

Ahhhh. Patience is a virtue.
Hopefully, it'll all be sorted out by Monday.

Does your university have security that can help? Last semester the Dean had me teaching at night in a similarly dangerous area and I'd have security escort me to and from the parking lot. I think they had some kind of ride service for students too, so see if your school does.

If you make intense supplication
and the timing of the answer is delayed,
do not despair of it.
His reply to you is guaranteed;
but in the way He chooses,
not the way you choose,
and at the moment He desires,
not the moment you desire.

My teacher was an old Chinese guy who scared everyone away and only 6 students remained. Turned out to be my easiest (and funnest) math class ever :look:
