Although I cannot disagree with your implication of what is in/appropriate with hijab, I feel obligated to point out that every woman is at a different level in terms of her faith, and especially the physical aspects of it.
Before we point to other women and criticize and/or disapprove of their appearance in terms of hijab, I think its important to consider that certainly these women are trying. Also, the act of wearing a hijab with something skimpy- if anything- suggests that these women are confused, and need some sort of guidance, or simply just time. Is that too much to give? Or are we just intolerant as a people?
A lot of these girls who we write off as 'tight shirt hijabis' hold great potential. And only God knows how much higher they are than the rest of us in faith. Because it may just be that as we are busy disapproving of their attire, they're busy in the dhikr of our Lord. So
let's make excuses for one another, and let's reach out.
I think I should also make clear that my intention was not to offend you, as I respect you quite a bit as a muslim woman, mashAllah, but instead I hope we can all be just a little more tolerant and accepting of one another.
Cheers.
*sigh* Must spread rep.
I love you.
