Ive ordered their tunics before and they are pretty good quality. They arent WONDERFUL but they arent cheapy either.
Chotoo, Ive had my eye on that first abaya for awhile

When you get it, let me know how it is!
I got it today. First thing you should order a size larger than their size charts suggest if you want a real abaya fit. If you follow their size chart the abaya will fit okay, but it will be a dress fit, and not a loose abaya fit.
second off, the matching scarf is square, not oblong. From the picture I thought it was a rectangular scarf with satin trim, but it's just a really nice satin square scarf. The color, by the way, is fabulous. I love the turquise color. Mr. ChotooMotoo thought it was really pretty.
The material is okay. It's not bad, but it's not top of the line. My Saudi abaya that I bought for $70 has much nicer fabric and drape, but the price difference is significant enough that I'm fine with it.
The style is not what I expected. From the picture I expected that the inner layer would be loose and would snap at the inner shoulder, and the outer layer would be an overlay that also snapped. It's not that at all. It's a regular over the head dress with no snaps. The inner and outer layer are sewn together. In one way that's good because when the wind blows or you walk, the abaya will stay closed not exposing your legs or your pants. On the other hand, if you get pregnant or something the garmant isn't forgiving of the weight.
Overall I'm fine with it. $50 for a scarf and abaya which was properly hemmed to my height (and fitted according to my height I might add. The waist hits in the right location etc) including shipping from India (it's pretty fast shipping too. 3 days from India once they sew it for you) is pretty good if you ask me.
