No that's City of Joy. City of God is one of the best films ever made. EVER.

I saw Last King of Scotland--I really liked it (if you liked Blood Diamond, you'll like this one).

Shooter--plain dumb, skip it.

Umrao Jaan (the new one)---disappointment. Beautiful costumes, beautiful sets, beautiful girl, but horrible acting, especially by Abishek. I wanted to throw my show at his wooden face. Blech. Aishwarya was so-so, needs improvement. Badly.

i loved city of god, that was a fantastic movie from brazil. and i also liked the last king of scotland, since i didnt really know the story behind edi amin.

you should also catch carandiru too. is also a true story about the largest prison in south america and the prison riots that went on there in the 80's. i actually look like one of the characters lol

Stardust- it was okay, could have been better. Some parts seemed very much a graphic novel come to life. I liked the talking ghost brothers. Claire Danes was wrong for the part. The soundtrack was weird, the loud rising orchestra cresendo in every scene was overkill and overdramatic. Some parts of the story and characters reminded me of The Princess Bride where you also had fantasy/adventure/strange new characters/true love message, but the PB was fantastic in every way while this movie fell short. Like in the Princess Bride several characters have a side story going on and they all seem equally interesting yet part of the same story but the characters in Stardust didn't have that same depth or appeal (except for the mother and Captain Shakespeare in terms of their side stories but it wasn't the same).

I'm sorry if my insensitivity toward your beliefs offends you. But guess what - your religious wars, jihads, crusades, inquisitions, censoring of free speech, brainwashing of children, murdering of albinos, forcing girls into underage marriages, female genital mutilation, stoning, pederasty, homophobia, and rejection of science and reason offend ME. So I guess we're even.

Those Magnificent Men and Their Flying Machines- nice movie, made in 1965 but set in the early 1900s about a plane race across the English channel with pilots from all over the world, the planes were really frail looking back then so it was cool to see the different kinds. The movie is in color, nice humor too, if you liked Around the World in 80 Days you'll like this one.

I went to see The Simpsons last night, but it was sold out  . Anyway, I ended up seeing Rush Hour with my best friend and my sister saw Bourne Ultimatum. I really can't stand Chris Tucker or Jackie Chan, but I can't stand Matt Damon's pretty-boy behind either. Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan were the lesser of two evils for me. Rush Hour was pretty mindless, but I laughed a few times, so I guess it was fine. My sister really enjoyed Bourne Ultimatum. I think she said it was the best of the Bournes.

The Bourne ultimatum - Boring, over rated and predictable.

The Simpsons Movie - Too focused on the family, but actually enjoyable. Laughed a bit.

Live Free or Die Hard - Best Movie of the summer hands down.

Transformers - Ok the action scenes were great, but come on! "If I do not defeat Megatron you must put the Cube in my chest"
