Don't you find it weird that both guys swing when you swing? I always end up thinking the playing who's taking a swing even though he's nowhere near the ball is completely retarded.

Wow, you haven't watched in awhile then! I liked Sampras, but it will be interesting to see if Federer can top him. In other news, Safin won today (you may recall that his first slam victory was against Sampras). I hope he can keep it together and have a good showing at the US Open.

I made a new immigrant filipino friend on the court b/c both of us were hanging around looking for someone to play with. tennis players are some of the most receptive to playing with strangers

Totally agree, last time my brothers and I played doubles with this Asian kid we met on the court..we needed another player and he just needed someone to play with.. He taught us a few things and we taught him some as well...

Anyways for you avid tennis followers have you guys hear of Jan Silva? Maybe not cuz the kid is only 5 years old but the kid has game...they had a special on him on the Today Show a few weeks ago and he's suppose to be the future of tennis. His mom was professional tennis player back home in Finland and his dad was an Afraican American basketball player here in the US...so he naturally was going to be an athlete. He's from my hometown of Sacramento, CA but now he's going to a tennis school in France on a full scholarship (something like 50k a year that France is investing in him).... pretty cool I think.

Safin [actually it's Safa - Safin is the Russified version] is a Tatar and a Muslim.
