Ok I've rtied searching to check whether anyone else has made an IPL thread but can't find anything.

If no one has I can't believe it! There's got to be at least 40% south asians on this forum and none of you are watching this?!.....LIARS

Ok as I am a girl my support for a cricket team changes with whichever team is playing that day, the underdoggedness of the players, the ones who remind me of baby lambs, which celebrity is supporting them, that sort of thing. But at the moment it's Kolkata Knight Ryders, Deccan Chargers, Royal Challengers Banglaore (well someone's gotta support them...they're so bad it's like watching a horror movie ...ditto Deccan Chargers...everytime Afridi bats my heart is in my mouth)

I don't watch the games, but I like Delhi, Rajistan and Kolkata, because Asif, Tanvir and Shoaib are on those teams respectively. Shoaib and Tanvir have two of the best bowling spells in the IPL so far.

I watch the games because I have no choice living in a male dominated environment ha. That's the only reason I got into it. I really want to watch Shane Warne against Shohaib Akhthar just for the entertainment value. And Shohaib against Asif would be interesting too. I'm just trying to milk the drama out of this.

I been following IPL pretty closely, heck watched the match b/w Dare Devils and the Chargers today...

Gambhir's on a roll...

As far as supporting a team is concerned, its Kolkata Knight Riders baby...all the way!!

It's all about Shoaib Akhtar and SRK...

I don't watch cricket, I just don't get it. But doesn't Sharukh Khan have a team or something? I was listening to BBC once and they said something about how the opening match or the championship game was this big spectacle with Bollywood actors and the like. I don't know if the same thing though.
