Awesome on a xbox360 with a hi-def tv, or a fast computer with a good vid card.
Personally, I prefer Rainbow 6 Las Vegas 2

its fun but its way too short. It takes 7 or 8 hrs to beat and the multiplayer mode isnt that great
perfect game to rent

I'm sure this is in the wrong section, but okay.
My brothers were addicted to COD4 but I don't see the glamour. I miiiiight give it a go when I'm done studying.
Right now, it's all about Team Fortress 2.

I spent a few hundred dollars on building a new PC last year...it runs very smooth on my card.
Never heard of Rainbow 6...I gues im gonna have to check it out sometime

Oh yea?
It's similar to Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter in many ways....that i was addicted to last year and enjoyed every bit of it.
Graphics and storyline are pretty impressive in COD4. I've only played 2 levels so far...and Im very tempted to beat the game.
GRAW was far more detailed and better in graphics...but COD4 beats in storyline.

Wrong section? Lol I think not 
I've played all the COD from 1 - 4 and I must say they really impressive storylines coupled with graphics.
Never heard of Team Fortress 2...I guess im gonna have to check that out as well this summer.

I've been playing Team Fortress 2 for months now, its awesome. The network connection sucks on xbox 360 though.

I dont like playing COD4 on the ps3, but for the computer i played the demo and it was great.
Though for multiplayer i would have to say Battlefield 2 and 2142 are better as you drive cars, trucks, tanks, planes, boats....just awesome!

Yeah it's quite addicting but at the same time can get really boring if you play for too long. I've been playing it for about the same amount of time as you, maybe less, on the PC. Do you need a Steam account on the xbox too?
I always thought it was a little sexist since there are no female characters but then I noticed a little handbag on Pyro's peg in the resupply room or whatever they call it. Either Pyro's a girl or...

Oooh! I loved Vice City on the PC. Anything after Vice City was crappy, in my opinion.
And don't get a Wii. That would be my sincerest advice. It's really fun when the family's together but other than that, it's quite boring. All the games are basically the same. We just got Mario Kart, it's okay but I don't get all the hype.
Then again, I've never really been into Nintendo and their games. So my opinion may well be biased.
As for the xbox, it has too many technical problems. We had to send ours back twice! It seems to be doing well at the moment though.
Now, the PS3 is just beautiful...in all aspects.

My hubby is currently very addicted to it. All his married friends play with eachother for hours!!! ahhhh...before it was Halo 3 and now COD4  . And i'm getting GTA for him tomorrow. |
