Re: The NHL Thread
Oh, and I don't believe Gary Bettman when he says the NHL's revised schedules are being made because of fan uproar over the new ones. I know I'm not clamoring for visits from the Atlanta Thrashers or the Tampa Bay Lightning every season. I like the enhanced rivalry schedule. I get to boo the Red Wings more.

Re: The NHL Thread
Sabres 7-1 over San Jose! Finally, some life! Which, in the grand tradition of Buffalo sports, will be followed by a quick and pointless death!

but at the moment, there is no reason to fire mr. jfj. however, this could very much change in the next few months, or even weeks.

Re: The NHL Thread
How could I have gone to the game? I live in Chicago, remember? The game was played in Buffalo.
I did listen to it on the radio, though. Kane was certainly the Blackhawks' most present player.

Re: The NHL Thread
Maybe Chris Mason should also be banned for unsportsmanlike inability! I listened to the first period of the Blackhawks/Predators game. Mason gave up two goals in the Blackhawks' first two shots and was pulled. The commentators noted that his save percentage is below 90 percent. Terrible.
