Aren't the Flyers still in first?
The Sabres have a winning record at last!

Re: The NHL Thread
they may be in first (tied with rangers with a game in hand in their division ) but this is the 4th incident where a flyers player delivered a somewhat of a cheap shot. not a bad as the first 2... the third one had the worst result.. but i dont understand why hartnell hit alberts when he was in that position.. especially considering what happened the last time those 2 teams played each other... sure we learn to always finish our checks. but he was on his knee..ne ways he got 2 games for it..
the leafs have the worst management +ownership group in all sports. all this he said he said.. is getting ridiculous.. some of the blame can do to the media.. but still.. i want too see changes.. this is getting retarded!
with blakes 4 million dollar salary..he couldnt even buy a goal!! soo much for the "omg we signed blake..for only 4 million..50 goal scorer here we come"
as i type this.. SUndin just scored to tie the game ... last min of third
hahahhahah leafs lose in the shootout... PM puts in tucker.. like comon''! tucker...and blake!! soooo frustrating!! 8 wins in 25 games!! good for 27th in the league.. top 3 pick in the draft..if they dont end up trading it for some 40 year old.. or even better another goalie....

Re: The NHL Thread
oh my goodness the leafs win! lol
haha.. didnt bother to watch the game.. the sens vs. preds game was much more entertaining! aflie ties it up at 5 with like 50 seconds left in the game... 20 seconds later erat gives the preds back the lead.
the sens have like one win in their past 9 games. what happened to that red hot gerber? and emery hasnt been the same as last year!
heyy blue- nice to see havlet back...and score on his first shift. but the question remains.. can he stay healthy? ohhh and funny story with ruutu and how he was arrested by mistake the other day!!

Re: The NHL Thread
Dear Sabres,
I'm disgusted. I'm ****ing disgusted! Here you guys had a chance to not only give yourselves some much-needed standings points, but by beating the St. Louis Blues, you would have vaulted the Blackhawks into sole possession of second place in the central division. And you blew it when Brad Boyne slapped in a freak bounce! Stick a fork in your season, it's done.
Sincerely,
Blue Phoenix
Dear Blackhawks,
You guys are doing great! Havlat, it was great to see your impact so soon after coming back. 43 seconds! But remember, the road is a long one, and the Red Wings are really far out in front of you right now. Go for them when the time is right. Until then, concentrate on maintaining second at nipping at Detroit's heels. And never stop fighting until the red light flashes!
Sincerely,
Blue Phoenix

Re: The NHL Thread
whos this Dustin Byfuglien guy?
Hawks had a 5-0 lead...within the first 10 mins of the game.. this Dustin guy got a hattrick in like 5 mins! right now it is 6-0 Hawks, end of second.

Re: The NHL Thread
I'll tell you what happened to their goaltending: Ray Emery is playing like Ray Emery.

Re: The NHL Thread
did the Sabres go to California to play hockey or go on vacation?!
lost 4-1 vs. the Ducks on Weds.. and 8-2 to the Kings lastnite! i stopped watching when it was like 7-0....Sabres had like 11 shots on net at that point. against LA third string goalie...making his NHL debut.

Re: The NHL Thread
And yet Ryan Miller is still popular in the all-star selections.
