You know what? No one ever told me when they even go on sale! Enjoy the Bills game.

So how about this fan promotion: If you go to a Saint Louis Blues game, you'll have a chance to win a contest where the prize is the team paying your mortgage for you!

all star game voting started on the 12th... this time we are able to see the results in real-time, instead of getting a update from the NHL every other week or so.

Leaders | All-Star Fan Balloting

in the East, all 6 starting positions are occupied by Habs.. which is absolutely ridiculous! Obviously Habs fans are stuffing the ballot.. I read a article about someone coming up with this auto-vote thingy that stuffs votes.. The Vote for Rory Fitzpatrick thing a couple of years ago was funny and obviously in good fun. But this is pretty pathetic, even though some say the NHL all star game is pointless. no way all 6 starters should be Habs. The only one I would take in the starting lineup is Markov and maybe Price.. but not based on his play yesterday. Komisarek lol.. ya right. Non of the forwards for sure... The NHL is supposedly looking into the auto-vote thing,

edit: looks like the NHL took off something like 10,000 votes of Markov and Price.. but Habs still in the lead for all 6 spots.

edit: again...lol looking at it more closely.. looks like the NHL took votes off everyone..

Well, there go my dreams of a Stanley Cup THIS year too. 6-1 loss to the Jackets! Doesn't get much lower than that.

Vanek was -4 with 4 shots on goal he's turning into a classic hot-and-cold player.

Cincinnati Reds fans pulled the same stunt back in the seventies. They overstuffed the fan-selection all-star ballots to make their whole team go to the all-star game. Baseball was so embarrassed by the whole episode when they succeeded in getting way too many of Cincy's players into the game that the league took action. The league removed two of the three outfielders and installed two people who were a lot more deserving - Willie Mays and Hank Aaron. Then I think they banned fan voting for the all-star game.

My mom said I am finally allowed to get a hockey jersey. My sisters and I were watching a Devils game and we kinda noticed the goalie was Black. Not that we care, but our mother has this thing about how we can't wear non-black people's jerseys. Kevin Weekes is Black, so I can get my jersey

The Sabres have had a handfull of black players in their history. One of them was the first - and so far the only - black player in the NHL Hall of Fame: Goaltender Grant Fuhr, who had his best years minding the net for the explosive, powerful Edmonton Oilers dynasty in the eighties.

no offense, but I wouldnt spend $500 on a Kevin Weekes jersey. A career backup who will probably be on a different team come whenver his contract expires. He has put up some decent numbers, but cant seem to stay in one place for more than 2-3 years. He has already played for like 7 teams. It's different when you are a goalie... I wouldnt be surprised if he ended up in the KHL. Why don't you get your name on the jersey? or someone like Iginla..lol but you couldnt get a Devils jersey with his name on it.

On a different note, I wonder how Kevin Lowe feels about signing Dustin Penner to that ridiculous contract now? Sure Penner made a truck load of money, but it's not always about money, I bet he wishes he was back with the Ducks playing with Perry and Getzlaf.

No listen, you should get Anson Carter's jersey

I like the Sabres idea. Nice. See, I have no problem with jerseys of anybody. My mother on the other hand has this "black pride thing" going on. I really like Hockey and I love how the jerseys are long sleeves and loose. I can TOTALLY rock it with a denim skirt and not have to deal with wearing thin longer sleeves underneath. (its about fashion people)
BP is right though. I have to stick with the devils or sabres. I dont know. I could rebel and get whatever, or like hockey chicka suggested get a no name one. But I am cheap.
If I find a weekes jersey, I reckon it will be cheap because he kinda is sucky. AND I am in jersey.

Geez, the Sabres gave up SEVEN to Boston! Someone tell Lindy it's time to start Lalime and kick Miller off the team.
