I've seen the new Leafs jerseys. They may be even more boring than the last ones, but at least the Leafs aren't skating around with yellow slugs emblazoned on their chests.
Hey, the NHL is set to announce the second outdoor hockey game in the history of the NHL! Sabres against Penguins at Ralph Wilson Stadium!

Re: The NHL Thread
I feel stupid. I really thought my version was the right one
I think mine looked better. Vancouver has their name printed over the crest too. But their looks retarded.Vancouver has always had the most retarded looking jerseys in the NHL.

Re: The NHL Thread
I googled the new Canuck sweaters and couldn't find out what the new ones look like. I hope they're not those lame-looking letter c's. They would be at least as bad as the new Sabres logo. What is it with NHL teams asking Reebok to design their logos anyway?
Hockeychika, the Leafs logo will be safe forever. The Original Six teams all have logos that have become such classics that they're untouchable. Especially the Blackhawks logo, which is still the coolest.

Re: The NHL Thread
I gotta give respect...blackhawks, especially their third jersey, is probably the best looking in sports, not just in hockey.

Re: The NHL Thread
I just got an email for some hockey game taking place new year's day at Ralph Wilson Stadium. I've been itching to go the stadium, since I love the Bills, but seeing a hockey game outdoors might be interesting. So, the money I was going to use to go to canada, I am using to go to the game. Oh, and since Canada is so close, I will go there too, InshaAllah.

Yeah.. they sold out in less than 30mins! .. Are you a Bills Club seat/season ticket holder?
Quote:
Tickets for the 2008 Winter Classic are now soldout.
Approximately 41,000 seats were sold in less than 30 minutes. The remaining seats are being held for Sabres Season Ticket Holders, Bills Club seat holders and the NHL, as well as Buffalo and Pittsburgh players. Nearly 7,000 seats at the lowest possible levels are obstructed due to television cameras for NBC's broadcast.
The Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins will make National Hockey League history on New Year’s Day, 2008, when they play in the AMP NHL Winter Classic, the League’s first regular-season outdoor game in the United States.

Re: The NHL Thread
Please, I live in NJ. My parents never let me go to Buffalo, even though it is my FAVORITE place on earth. I saw people selling their tickets for like $300, but I'm poor. Oh well. Maybe I can like, enter to win some tickets from a radio station or something.

Re: The NHL Thread
Buffalo is your favourite place on earth? Seriously? Out of...New York, Chicago, Toronto, Paris, Cairo, Istanbul, not to mention Makkah and Madinah...and you chose Buffalo?
Do you really like outlet stores that much or something?

My mother wanted to go, and she said she asked my father to get tickets. I said I wanted to go too, and that it would be possible since I have every intention of visiting Buffalo for the holidays. I don't know if my father got them. I hope he did.
