awww poor patty kane.. crying over the firing of savard!

kinda shocked he was fired..sure they didnt get off to the start everyone expected.. but its just 4 games. if i were tallon i would watch my back.. with scotty bowman part of hockey operations he could be next.. they brought in quineville was part of the scouting staff.

so if both teams go into the shootout with no score (0-0)...both goalies get a shutout?!

Quineville was a good coach with Saint Louis. I'm just a little peeved because they have SCOTTY FREAKING BOWMAN at their disposal and didn't use him!

Sarah Palin NHL curse, first she drops the puck in Philly, the Flyers go 0-6. The same night they win their first game, she drops the puck in St. Louis.. the Blues lost 4-0 plusLegace tripped on the carpet and hurt his hip. He is day to day, but with Mason on the IR.. sucks for them!

all 30 teams are in action tonight. gonna be hard deciding who to bench and who play in my pool!

lol...I don't think he wants to coach anymore. He's only in Chicago to chill with his son who works there.

Well, first match between Chicago and the champs was last night. It was a hard, good game and the Hawks got a point out of it, though I can't say I'm happy with the result. All that scoring power and we lose to a career backup...

Yeah. At the Hawks/Wings game, they even had Bobby Hull there wearing one of the retro jerseys. He said they'd be available at HawkQuarters. I visited HawkQuarters the next day just to take a look and overheard the employees telling some disappointed customers they don't actually CARRY the jersey and the customers would have to order it.

The Hawks finally won a shootout. And Huet shut out the other guys in that same shootout. There may be hope for him yet.

What's up with Thomas Vanek? He suddenly decided to actually play like a first-round draft pick.

Who should get into the Hall of Fame this season? Yzerman and Leetch are locks for sure, and Robataille will be getting in one way or the other. Lindros somehow made it as a finalist.

The Blackhawks retire number 3 for both Pierre Pilote and Keith Magnuson tomorrow night!

I think Ill take Bure ahead of Lindros.. but someone like Cassie Campbell ahead of them both.. it is time for the HOH to induct a woman! There is also someone like.. *sorry, Blue, hate to say it...but* Brett Hull. and maybe Dino Ciccarelli, Doug Gilmour, Adam Oats..

Yzerman and Leetch are locks for sure.

Winter Classic ticket lottery for Canadians opened today.. I just registerd.. heres hoping I snag tickets! I won the lottery for the Bills in Toronto... so maybe I can win again! Although I might be able to get tickets through some connections. . . .

Did you get tickets??
