just last week i got my skates sharpened and my parents were giving me the becreful they are really sharp lecture again...
mann that was tough to watch.

Yeah... perhaps he should, but anybody willing to help my Bills is a friend. (Mr. Sabres owner, if you are reading this, I could sure use some adopting.)
My sister knows I falsely follow the Sabres and she first kinda told me, then SHOWED me the video of that guy bleeding. Eww, gross. I certainly would not have played after that.

Re: The NHL Thread
What guy bleeding?
I didn't know Golisano was interested in the Bills. I would approve though. He'd keep the team in Buffalo after Ralph Wilson's death and lower prices.
Blackhawks are finally scoring again. Thank you Jonathan Toews! And the Sabres are on a hot streak, snatching that last playoff spot from Boston! Look out Senators...
The Red Wings are untouchable now. They'll never be caught.

Re: The NHL Thread
miss the Rangers and Sabres game this afternoon? I guess the Sabres forgot it was an early star too, and they were in pre game nap mode.
lol havnt watched the Wings play this/last week either.. or their last 5 games? sure dont look like Cup contenders... their D was awful yesterday vs. the Jackets. and the game vs. L.A. ... if they keep it upp.. teams will catch up.. and/or will be another early exist from the playoffs by a 8th seeded team
Leafs are in 29th!! with a loss tonight and a L.A win they will be in 30th! STAMKOS!!

Re: The NHL Thread
The Blackhawks are in talks to bring outdoor hockey to Soldier Field! Cool!
I have mixed feelings about the location though. Soldier Field is RIGHT on Lake Michigan and wind would almost definitely be a factor in the game. But if it's at Soldier Field instead of Wrigley Field, I'll save a trip to Wrigleyville where I'd have to endure Cubs fans.

Re: The NHL Thread
I wonder if Dale Tallon is going to try to really shake up the team.

Re: The NHL Thread
if you were a professional athlete with a trade clause in your contract-- and the gm asked u to waive it...would you waive it?
Sundin has officially stated that he will NOT waive his notrade. I kinda liked what he had to say about being part of a Stanley Cup team is more special if you are part of it from training camp to the end.. but mann Leafs chances of getting Stamkos declined!!
Kaberle said he wouldnt waive his .. there was a deal ready with Philly.
Tucker also said no..Same with McCabe.. but he said he will think about it
no one wants Kubina ...so no need in asking him
mann who else has a freakin' no trade clause on the leafs??

Re: The NHL Thread
The Blackhawks pretty much just stood, but that's okay. They're not quite ready to contend yet.
I hate the Buffalo Sabres. I hope Darcy Regier gets the crap kicked out of him in a back alley somewhere in downtown Buffalo.

Re: The NHL Thread
campbell was obviously not going to sign with the sabres, so atleast they got something in return.. first round pick and bernier.. who has 2 goals tonight. "I double welcome you to buffalo steve bernier" haha
its suppose to be a pretty good draft too..
love the reunion in colorado with foote, foppa, back.. lol

Re: The NHL Thread
Well come on, they could have tried! Why couldn't they get rid of Vanek?

Re: The NHL Thread
i heard a rumour that ryan miller will be the latest sabre to leave buffalo once he hits ufa status!
Sabres really need to stop being so cheap and get these players signed. Firstly, Drury and Briere, then Campbell.. if the lose miller!!
poor buffalo fans!

Re: The NHL Thread
Of course they overpay Vanek and him and Miller are both overrated.

according to hnic satellite hotstove, there will be a new years winter classic next year..
the location is likely going to be wrigley field or yankee stadium.
the one dude said that the yankees were not interested at first..but after hearing about the success of the first one, they now really interested. the panel thought it was odd that they would be really interested, considering this would probably the last event at yankee stadium.. haha hockey game at a baseball stadium....not to mention on of the most storied stadiums.
i was not a fan of them doing it every year.. now that they are.. would have been nice if they did in canada.
